www.shelton1961.comAs we had for our 45th reunion (with a great turnout, I might add), there will be a no-host mixer at the Golden Pheasant Tavern on Friday evening, from 5:30 until ?
This casual gathering is open to all class members, and to any friends of our class who might be interested in attending. The Pheasant has an ample bar, and there will be assorted food offerings at reasonable prices. No outside food or beverages, please.
Those who own any old cars are invited to show them outside during the mixer, and the "People's Choice" prize will be announced and awarded toward the end of the evening. Questions regarding the mini car show (no entry fee, by the way) should be directed to Jimmy Brown, email jbfinish@gmail.com.
You are encouraged to arrive earlier and renew old acquaintances. Also, since some folks can't make it both nights, Friday may be your only opportunity to visit with some of your classmates!

www.shelton1961.com Our Golden Class Reunion will take place Saturday evening, August 20, 2011, in the Sa-Heh-Wa-Mish Room on the bottom floor of Little Creek Casino & Resort. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for checkin and registration. The dinner buffet will be open from 7:00 to 8:30, featuring the following menu:
Baron of beef (carved in room with horseradish sauce)
Caesar salad with parmesan and herb croutons
Mixed green salad
Fruit salad
Penne pasta primavera with alfredo sauce
Herb roasted red potatoes
Chef's steamed vegetable of the day
Variety of breads and butter
Assorted cakes
Coffee and tea
Cash bars will be available in the banquet room. Debit and credit cards are not accepted at the bars, however ATM machines are conveniently located through the hotel and casino.
Cost for the Saturday evening event is $50 per person, or $100 per couple. Payment to reserve your tickets should be sent to Shelton Class of 1961, c/o Sherry Kent Myers, 150 E Duck Cove Rd, Shelton, WA 98584; or, you may charge your tickets securely online on our Buy Tickets page. Refunds will be available upon request only until August 1, at which time we must provide the Resort with a guaranteed guest count.
A block of fifty rooms have been reserved, some for Saturday night only and some for Friday and Saturday night. Please call the Hotel at 1-800-667-7711 to make your reservation, and be sure to mention our class reunion to get the discounted room rate of $109.
The Presidential Suite has been donated for us to use as a hospitality suite for the weekend. It will be open at least from noon to 5:00p.m. on Saturday, August 20. The full hospitality room schedule will be posted at the Resort. Beverages and snacks will be provided. Attendees are welcome to use the suite to freshen up prior to the evening's events.
